The Project

Carrier Design Co. is an Interior Design company that creates inspiring, functional, and timeless spaces that make people feel at home. Our overall goal for Carrier Design Co. was to create a brand that felt timeless and approachable, yet elevated and modern at the same time. A clean, monochrome logo with primarily text was chosen to be neutral enough to go along with different interior design styles and imagery, as well as branded patterns. For the font choice, we chose a textured and rounded font for a coastal, lived-in feel that also felt friendly and personable. We paired the text with a very simple logo element above the “i” that was designed with inspiration from a piece of furniture the owners were drawn to—it worked perfectly at portraying a clean, symmetrical, and tailored look. We then designed patterns with inspiration from textiles, furniture pieces, and more in the client’s branded colors, a palette inspired by coastal and organic elements.
